K5 and 8th Grade Completion Ceremony

Completion Ceremony updates:
Due to recent events nationwide, MESA will take the following safety measures for our upcoming K5 and 8th-grade outdoor completion ceremonies:
- Each Scholar is limited to two guests.
- There is no entrance into the school building during the completion ceremonies.
- If you come for early pick-up, please stay in your car, call the main office and your scholar will be released and escorted to your car for a parent signature.
- If you plan to take your scholar home after the ceremony, please make arrangements in advance with the teacher.
Thank you for your support in ensuring we have a safe and orderly celebration for our scholars.

Arrival Times:
Ms. Shearer’s 8A and Mr. Hortman’s 8B should arrive at MESA no later than 11:15 am to line up with their homerooms.
More Information:
- Families should enter the playground on 65th street (between Capitol and Melvina) to be seated.
- Families will not be permitted inside the building during the ceremony.
- Cupcakes and juice will be served immediately after the completion in a “grab and go” style so that we can safely dismiss scholars inside the building.
